About the Role
Gojek is looking for a Software Engineer- iOS for its online quick commerce business - GoMart. Are you interested in solving and improving customer experience? Would you like to work for one of the fastest growing quick commerce verticals in Indonesia? Would you love to work with an amazing team which strives for excellence? As an iOS Engineer for GoMart, you’ll be building new features for the iOS App, will be working with stakeholders from design team to product management team to business unit team to push GoMart App forward and not only maintain the ease of use which the app provides but also to improve the app dynamics along the way.
What You Will Do
- Work with engineers and business stakeholders to understand the nature and background of the problems
- Pair with fellow engineers to dissect the incoming problem statement and contribute to the solutioning
- Plan and write technical specifications and architecture decisions for the features and frontend solutions before and during implementation
- Write code that is clear, concise, performant, tested, and easily understood by others
- Own and Implement the features using the technology stack that we have in place while bringing in flavors of latest but proven trends and methods
- Ensure that the UI is written in a modular fashion keeping in mind the implications on speed, performance and security
- Ensure that the application is robust by writing automated tests which covers all the critical flows in the application
What You Will Need
- 2+ Years of experience building iOS applications
- In-depth knowledge of iOS Apps architecture (MVVM/VIPER) and implementation including proficiency in Swift, Git, and Cocoapods
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Excellent communication skills: proficiency in speaking and writing English
- Experience with building products catering to millions is a plus
- A team player, treats fellow employees with respect, leaves a positive influence on team members and is willing to provide help to them when needed
- Experience working with distributed teams and in a distributed environment
