The Squarespace Domains group is looking for a Backend Engineer! Our group’s products offer customers the tools to establish the foundation of their digital presence. The teams are focused on building new features to allow customers to do more with their domains. The Reseller team is responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing the Domains Reseller API. The team aims to build a reliable, scalable and highly available API that can be used by other businesses that are looking to sell domains through their platform.
This is a hybrid role working from our Aveiro office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Team Manager.
You'll Get To…- Help scale our services to support our growing product needs
- Participate in high impact projects to help build the future of the Domains and Email products
- Work with and learn from Senior and Staff engineers on the team
- You will lead well-scoped backend projects with guidance from senior engineers
- 2 + years of experience developing production systems using Java or similar Object-oriented languages
- A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, databases and software design practices
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
- Ownership towards features and projects you are working on
