Equifax is seeking creative, high-energy and driven software engineers with hands-on development skills to work on a variety of meaningful projects. Our software engineering positions provide you the opportunity to join a team of talented engineers working with leading-edge technology. What you’ll do

  • Apply basic principles of software engineering and follow instructions.

  • Easily absorb and apply new information.

  • Display a cooperative attitude and share knowledge.

  • Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)

  • Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing corporate product platforms

  • Work closely with our Product Owner and BAs over different requirements.

  • Produce clear and concise documentation for the software you create.

  • Maintain clean coding practices to ensure code readability and maintainability.

  • Constantly learn new tools.

  • Learn and understand the business purpose of things  built.

What experience you need 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 1+ experience with Java software programming experience

  • Experience using Spring Boot.

  • Experience building APIs.

  • Use of Git.

  • Use of REST API clients such as Bruno, Postman

  • Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Unit testing

  • Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)

  • Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github)

  • Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+)

  • Developing with Python

  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

  • Computer Security Knowledge.
