We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Test Automation with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. The role is purely focused on test automation activities, with a strong emphasis on Playwright and TypeScript. The candidate must have strong experience and exposure to testing web applications built using Node.js and React.js.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- Perform end-to-end, functional, and regression automation testing
- Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and testing needs
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for applications developed using Node.js and React.js
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects across the testing lifecycle
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing utilities
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Adhere to quality standards, compliance requirements, and banking regulations
- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript (mandatory)
- Experience testing applications built on Node.js and React.js
- Mandatory banking domain expertise
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and QA best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with Selenium (Java)
- Knowledge of Finacle or other core banking platforms
- Exposure to API testing and performance testing tools
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
