Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications and microservices for Manhattan WMOS; build integrations with ERP, MHE, and ProShip; write PL/SQL; troubleshoot WMOS in Linux/Unix; ensure performance, security, and support releases while providing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and extensions supporting Manhattan WMOS
- Lead technical design and implementation of WMOS integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP, MHE, and ProShip
- Develop and maintain microservices and APIs supporting warehouse and fulfillment operations
- Write and optimize PL/SQL code to support WMOS data processing and integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by analyzing WMOS logs and system behavior in Linux/Unix environments
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability of WMOS-related applications
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, operations, and support teams
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring for development team members
- Support system upgrades, deployments, and release activities
- Drive adherence to coding standards, best practices, and SDLC processes
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting Manhattan Associates WMOS
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database concepts
- Good understanding or working knowledge of microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes including inventory, order fulfillment, and pick-pack-ship
- Experience with MHE integration and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of ProShip integration is a plus
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with ability to analyze WMOS logs
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
