Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Configuration & Development Engineer to join our Digital & Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing document capture and imaging platforms that enable large-scale digital ingestion and processing of physical and electronic documents across global operations.

What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Configure, customize, and maintain imaging capture workflows—including document classification, data extraction, and validation—to ensure efficient digital processing.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with integrations between capture platforms and downstream systems such as content management and reporting modules.
Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with Information Technology (IT) governance, security, and coding standards while maintaining clear technical documentation for all configurations and Structured Query Language (SQL) logic.
The ideal candidate will have:
2–5 years of experience in configuration and development roles within Information Technology (IT) organizations.
Strong knowledge of Imaging Capture Tools such as Kofax, Captiva, ABBYY, OpenText Omni, IBM Datacap, Ephesoft, or Hyland OnBase Capture.
Proven ability in working with SQL and relational databases, with a solid understanding of document and records management concepts.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
