Job Description:
Software Engineer – Agentic AI
About the Role
Kaleris is seeking a passionate and innovative Software Engineer to join our AIML team in building the next generation of intelligent agentic systems, leveraging cutting-edge frameworks such as LangGraph and advanced Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration. You will design, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions that power dynamic agent behaviors and GenAI features across our logistics and supply chain products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end agentic AI workflows using frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, etc.).
- Develop and fine-tune LLM pipelines, integrate with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Build robust, production-grade APIs for real-time AI services.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to solve complex business problems using AI/ML.
- Deploy models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), leveraging containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and MLOps best practices.
- Automate data ingestion, cleaning, and feature engineering pipelines for training and serving large-scale models.
- Ensure responsible AI practices, model governance, and safety throughout the ML lifecycle.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and project planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama), prompt engineering, and agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI).
- Proven experience with Python, LLM technologies, advanced prompt engineering, and agent workflows (LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI), async programming (asyncio), and backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django).
- Skilled in NLP, LLMs (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, vector stores), and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD for ML models.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for continuous learning and driving innovation.
Preferred
- Experience with real-world GenAI deployments or agent orchestration systems.
- Exposure to model versioning, model monitoring, and automated model retraining.
- Interest in the logistics/supply chain sector.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene
To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
