Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications using Trizetto Facets, SQL, Python, Java, or equivalent technologies
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, promoting best practices in software development, code quality, and system design
• Drive architecture discussions and contribute to the design of scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable applications
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code while establishing coding standards and engineering best practices
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, database objects, and data access layers to support business-critical applications
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration solutions across enterprise platforms
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business objectives
• Lead cloud adoption initiatives and support the deployment, monitoring, scalability, and operational excellence of applications in cloud environments
• Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Champion DevOps practices including source control management, automated testing, release management, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery
• Evaluate and leverage AI/ML and Generative AI technologies to improve engineering productivity, business processes, and customer outcomes
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical coaching, code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, performance, and reliability standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Lead production support activities, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to improve system stability and performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering excellence, automation, operational efficiency, and innovation
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates on technical solutions, risks, and project status

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in software design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications
• Solid hands-on experience with Trizetto Facets, SQL, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages and frameworks
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise-grade software solutions
• Solid experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-native application architectures
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing architectural and engineering decisions
• Solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and application security best practices
• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern SDLC methodologies
• Understand business requirements, application architecture, and enterprise systems to design and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
• Solid proficiency with Git-based source control and modern software development practices
• Proven deep expertise in SQL, including performance optimization, database design, data modeling, and troubleshooting
• Proven exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted software development
• Proven excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Proven solid stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across teams
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for end-to-end delivery of strategic technology solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure, AI, Cloud, DevOps, or Architecture-related certifications
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, Azure AI Studio, or similar platforms
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable microservices-based architectures.
• Healthcare and Trizetto Facets domain experience
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programs
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and DevOps automation practices
