Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing design, coding, unit testing and ensuring conformance to the team s development process and standards
- Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness
- Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and efficiency across the team
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of overall software engineering experience
- Experience deploying and operating code in a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud)
- Experience in financial technology domain
- Experience with high volume transaction sites
- Experience working with applications deployed in private or public cloud
- Experience in customer facing products
- Proficient in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvements and strategic innovation
- Proven good oral and written communication Skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to solve business problems strategic innovation
