What you'll do as a Software Engineering Manager
- Lead a high-performing full-stack engineering team responsible for casino gameplay operations and transactional systems.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to scope and deliver scalable backend services in .NET and modern frontend applications in React and TypeScript.
- Ensure alignment with backend systems, database design, and cross-platform integration to deliver reliable, cohesive solutions.
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions that meet performance, scalability, and reliability goals.
- Mentor and coach engineers of varying experience levels with structured feedback, goal setting, and career development.
- Foster engineering best practices, system observability, and quality-focused delivery.
- Support hiring efforts and cultivate a diverse and inclusive team culture.
What you'll bring
- At least 2 years of experience managing engineering teams, promoting high performance, and supporting individual growth.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development, including system-level design and API architecture. (C#/.NET or Node.js)
- Solid experience with frontend technologies like React.js and TypeScript.
- Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and clear communication abilities.
- A deep appreciation for clean, maintainable code, system health monitoring, and scalable architecture.
