The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets.  The Impact you will have in this role:

Responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions.
May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, 
or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm.
The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages.
Software Developers work closely with business partners in defining requirements and implementing solutions.

 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle/Snow Flake,Data hub nd Data quality. 
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as product management, application development, DevOps, and other technical groups.
• Take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.

Talents Needed for Success:

• Experience with developing SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts in Oracle or cloud warehouse like Snowflake
• Optimization and performance tuning of data processing workflows for improved efficiency
• Hands on experience of Java / python or shell scripting are desired as secondary skills
• Should be a learner and have problem solving skills and participate in design discussions.
• Motivated team player to understand holistic end to end functionality of application
• Hands on experience with AI empowered tools for development like Kiro, Amazon Q ,co-pilot.
• Strong understanding on cloud warehouse architecture and services in AWS or similar cloud platform
• Knowledge of data warehouse principles like star schema model using slowly changing dimension and facts is desired
• Experience in scheduling jobs using Autosys or similar tools
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, nexus and fortify.
• Solid understanding of Agile, CI/CD, Dev/Ops practices and tools
• Strong soft skills including attention to detail, verbal and written communication, team oriented and self-motivated
• Experienced in working with a geographically separated team.
