The Challenge:
Adobe Document Cloud Services team is looking for a dedicated, highly motivated Software Quality Engineer and problem solver to join a high-caliber, fast-paced team. The engineer is expected to have solid experience in building test automation frameworks, validating distributed ML services, and ensuring high-quality, low-latency, and high-performance systems.
What you will do:
Contribute to the quality strategy, validation, and release readiness of ML services from zero to production.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools for large-scale, high-performance services serving users worldwide.
Develop and execute functional, regression, performance, and reliability tests to ensure product excellence.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and design teams to identify quality risks early and build comprehensive test coverage.
Drive root cause analysis of production issues and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
What you need to succeed
2 - 4 years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation.
Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.
B.S./B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering degree.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful services, and backend architectures.
Hands-on experience with test design, automation frameworks, and debugging complex systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
Self-motivated and adaptable with a growth mindset.
Ability to work seamlessly across engineering teams, product management, and quality peers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Preferred skills:
Exposure to ML services or LLMs.
Experience with backend validation, API testing, and automation frameworks in Python.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools like New Relic, Grafana, etc.
Experience with performance and scalability testing of distributed systems.
