About the Job:
The Red Hat DXP Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will develop automated tests for a functional area of a solution within our extensive portfolio of offerings. To do so successfully, you'll first need to understand the solution's architecture and how it integrates with other offerings. As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as an individual contributor of the team and interact with other team members and developers.
What will you do?

Define automated test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures

Design and create test automation suites

Contribute to weekly team meetings
-
Reviewing codes, specifications and processes.

Provide an accurate and timely status of automated testing efforts and quality statistics to the product leadership team.
What will you bring?

3+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering
-
Good understanding of testing Web Applications, APIs and creating test automation suites.

Expert in manual testing (exploratory testing)
-
Good programming skills in any one language ( JS, Python, Java).

Automation testing with Cypress or playwrite
-
Knowledge of Git
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Basic understanding of agile practices
