Essential Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in the software engineering industry, with experience supporting large scale software systems in production.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Pulumi
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS
- Networking: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, CDNs, DNS, security groups
- Monitoring & Observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Newrelic, Grafana, ELK stack
- Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go
- Security Architecture: Zero-trust models, encryption, compliance frameworks
- Disaster Recovery: Backup strategies, RTO/RPO planning, multi-region deployments
- Cost Management: Resource optimization, budget planning, FinOps practices
Desirable Requirements: - Performance Optimization: Auto-scaling, caching strategies, database optimization
- System Design: Scalable, resilient, and cost-effective architectures
- Communication: Technical documentation, stakeholder presentations
- Microservices Architecture: Service mesh, API gateways, distributed systems
- Project Management: Agile methodologies, cross-functional collaboration
- Problem Solving: Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
- Mentoring: Guiding development teams on best practices
Certifications (Preferred)
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
