The Opportunity
As a Software Tester you'll be responsible for design and execution of software tests to identify problems as soon as possible. You will align and integrate well with testers, developers, engineers, analysts, scrum masters, delivery managers and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review user stories and evaluate their acceptance criteria.
- Identify product risks and recommend steps to minimize them.
- Review and contribute to test plans and test reports.
- Create test approaches, test scenarios, test cases and automated test scripts for new or changed software.
- Implement software tests, using either manual or automated approaches, as well as exploratory testing.
- Run diverse sets of tests on new or changed software products to ensure they satisfy all specifications and requirements and evaluate results.
- Write detailed, high quality defect reports for any issues encountered during testing activities.
- Provide feedback to team members and stakeholders regarding usability and functionality.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing focused on test automation and/or willingness to invest in developing test automation skills.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Solid experience with Salesforce CRM testing and validation.
- Good experience with issue tracking and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman).
- Good at analyzing problems and developing solutions.
- Proficient in both oral and written communication in English.
- Team player with innovative thinking.
