In this role, you will be responsible for validating the functionality and performance of our software applications through comprehensive testing practices. You will work closely with developers and project managers to design and execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure that our software meets the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Create and execute detailed test cases based on functional specifications and user requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and gather testing requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication of issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to achieve better efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of test reports and summary documentation for stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming testing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of automated testing concepts is a plus.
- Experience with Agile software development practices is advantageous.
