As a Field Application Support Engineer at Linz Technologies, you will provide critical technical support for SolidWorks and related products (such as Simulation and PDM). You will work directly with clients to ensure smooth implementation, troubleshoot issues, and enhance their experience with our solutions. Key Responsibilities:
∙Provide expert technical support for SolidWorks and affiliated products, including
Simulation and PDM.
∙Conduct training and implementation sessions at client locations.
∙Travel to customer sites to assist with software usage and provide hands-on support.
∙Proactively engage with clients to assess and improve their use of SolidWorks and
associated tools.
∙Recommend best practices, solutions, and optimizations for productivity enhancement.
∙Document technical solutions and share insights via articles or videos on the company's
technical blog.
∙Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients' SolidWorks-related queries.
∙Assist in identifying potential applications of SolidWorks products that meet customer
needs.
Requirements
∙Minimum 3 years of experience with SolidWorks (experience with SolidWorks
Simulation and PDM is a plus).
∙Education in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
∙Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
∙Knowledge of engineering processes and terminology in mechanical CAD/design.
∙Experience in product design, tooling design, or industrial/electrical system design is an
advantage.
∙Familiarity with Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
∙SOLIDWORKS certifications (CSWP/CSWE) preferred.
∙Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
∙Must have reliable transportation (two-wheeler/four-wheeler) and a valid drivers license.
