Responsible for working with a cross-functional team to define, develop and deploy new solutions. Ensures that the company platform is deployed and maintained utilizing best practices as well as managing change as the platform evolves. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Support business unit and customer team leaders during product and integration initiatives by utilizing knowledge of customer organization and culture, along with technical architecture expertise to ensure that these initiatives can be deployed and supported by the customer.
  • Own and develop hardware and software architecture for more than one area of technical expertise. Responsible for the vision and creating a plan for others to execute.
  • Perform gap analysis between customer and standard deployments and provide plan for remediation.
  • Work with the product and customer teams on new product requirements, integrations and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with the product team and customers on load/stress and fail-over testing for high-availability deployments.
  • Partner with third-party vendor's technical contacts to ensure technical solutions for customers.
  • Lead and mentor engineers in more than one area of expertise.
  • Work with customers to address issues and resolve problems both pre & post -production.
  • Drive continuous technical improvement both internally and with customers.
  • Cultivate and drive technical decisions with customers to design or improve technical solutions.
  • Oversee technical implementation for customer deployment projects.
  • Author customer architecture documentation.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
