In this position... 


The Ford Pro Solutions team is seeking a talented experienced, and passionate professional to tell the Ford Pro story to potential customers! The Solutions Sales Manager will be a subject matter expert on Ford Pro’s ancillary product portfolio and will be responsible for facilitating sales demos and training for assigned Ford Dealerships. These products primarily include Ford Pro Telematics, Fleet Management,  and charging software. Successful candidates will combine software expertise and empathy for the end user to attract clients and to develop the software solution to their maximum potential. Additionally, ideal candidates will be relationship builders and partner with Ford Dealership personnel to drive additional sales activity and to develop the dealership channel. Solutions Sales Managers will be passionate about software features and sell their benefits, with the goal of meeting customer needs and enhancing the stickiness of Ford Pro vehicles and ancillary services.  The sales territory would include southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and and Manitoba. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Drive new Ford Pro Software and Charging opportunities through Ford dealerships by meeting with customers, creating proposals, and closing the business.
  • Conduct sales demonstrations for prospective customers, both in person and virtually.
  • Provide training to channel partners to increase the knowledge level of their sales representatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients and dealers.
  • Stay current and knowledgeable on all Ford Pro products and services.
  • Utilize Salesforce as a business tool to manage and grow the assigned business.
  • Assist with client support and customer issue resolution as needed to ensure a seamless, always-on experience.
  • Support local dealership partners on sales opportunities within a specified territory.
  • Generate leads through channel partners and close sales opportunities.
  • Establish strong, positive working relationships with Ford/Lincoln dealers and their commercial sales teams.
  • Manage prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing support for both prospective and existing customers.
  • Provide voice-of-customer feedback on Ford Pro products to the product development teams.
  • Follow the defined Lead Management Process for documenting all customer contact.
  • Build a strong partnership with the Commercial Sales Manager within the assigned sales region.
  • Travel 75% or more within the region to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications

You'll have...

Education: Bachelors degree in a related field of study. 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years' of field sales/service experience calling on Dealers or fleet customers.
  • 3+ years' of consultative selling experience across multiple products to serve end users.
  • Measured success and a proven track record in Software Sales.
  • Frequent travel (up to 75%) within the assigned territory (Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) is required.

  • Candidate must live in or move to the region. (Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba)
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce is preferred.
  • Skilled at building excellent relationships, collaborating effectively within and across multiple functions, and influencing others to embrace new initiatives and take action.
  • A demonstrated track record of taking ownership, delivering results, and bringing the personal drive and competitive spirit needed to succeed in the marketplace.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer-based applications, IT operations, and SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with wireless and GPS technology is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with close attention to detail, are essential to succeeding in this role.
  • A reliable aptitude for learning new software and equipment products quickly.
  • Prior experience in dealership or channel management is preferred.
  • A genuine commitment to doing what is right for the customer.

The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $ 85,000.00 - $135,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
