About the Role

Quvia is seeking a Solutions Engineer. The Solutions Engineer will interface with customers and identify their needs. A Solutions Engineer will work with various Quvia departments, from sales, service delivery, network engineers to support and operations, ensuring a plan is in motion to improve the customer’s experience. The position requires high-level thinking to architect solutions across a variety of hardware, along with low-level programming skills and a passion for focusing and committing.

You also excel at dealing with the complexities associated with large enterprise customers.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of Quvia systems across multiple verticals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of satellite communication systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of satellite systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Quvia systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and service delivery, to ensure successful project execution.

Solutions Engineering / Pre-Sales

  • POC design and execution
  • Installation, configuration, and testing with customer
  • Technical documentation
  • Troubleshooting complex, multi-layer environments

What You'll Need

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Networking Skills (TCP/IP, routing, switching, network services, VPN)
  • Telecommunications (satellite or wireless knowledge)
  • SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Meraki/Viptela, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper)
  • Exposure to Virtual infrastructure
  • Familiarity with basic automation and Linux.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication (translating technical to non-technical)
  • Customer-facing relationship management
  • Cross-functional team coordination
  • Project management (juggling multiple workstreams)
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, startup environments
