As a Stress Analyst in our Engineering team you will have the opportunity to design and develop heavy industrial equipment.  By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and challenges. 

Your responsibilities
 

  • Apply finite element analysis (FEA) techniques to the mechanical design and evaluation of horizontal mills
  • Perform stress analysis on mechanical components to assess structural integrity and suitability of designs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate FEA results and propose optimized solutions
  • Document and present findings from FEA simulations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in reporting
  • Design, and reverse engineering of non-FLS horizontal grinding mills
  • Provide technical support to sales teams, product specialists and solution sales specialists 
  • Review customer technical specifications.
  • Optimize the design and standardization of sub-assemblies of the most commonly replaced components
  • Travel to project sites and regional offices as needed to support manufacturing, equipment installation, and field service
  • Actively participate in team efforts to achieve shared project goals

What you bring
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of five years experience in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in stress analysis of mechanical components
  • Hands on experience with leading commercial FEA software (ANSYS) for modelling, simulation and optimization
  • Experience in mechanical engineering design of horizontal mills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical thinking and a demonstrated ability to address complex challenges effectively
  • Proficiency with engineering design tools (AutoCAD, Solidworks, ANSYS) and Microsoft Office
  • Able to communicate ideas clearly and professionally across diverse teams and audiences
