Job Description
As part of our leadership support team, this Specialist 2, Human Resource role assists with shaping and executing human resource processes, policies and programs in alignment with the goals of the organization.
This position requires a broad understanding of HR practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive positive change.
Collaborating with a variety of HR functions, contributing to the development of a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture, and aligning HR initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Part of the Leadership Support team collaborating with HRBP’s and centres of excellence to execute on compliance and HR programs to foster growth, innovation and organization wide effectiveness
- Tier two point of contact for the resolution of employee lifecycle querieis from induction to exit, including Engagement, Rewards and Recognition
- Supporting leaders to resolve employee grievances through a solution oriented approach
- Implement communication strategies that foster transparency and a positive workplace culture.
- Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience
- Assists with all audit and compliance requests pertaining to HR processes
- Play a key role in site communication by maintaining intranet space for site HR.
- Maintaining of personnel records and HR documents

- Is comfortable with data & systems, be process driven and have experience with HR procedures
- Liaises with HR Analytics/Operations to support creation and delivery of high value metrics and reporting
- Possess excellent time management and attention to detail is required.
- Get involved and get creative - support the culture agenda and positive working environment locally
- Demonstrate ability to utilize business software applications and prepare professional documents/reports. Be motivated and comfortable working within a data driven environment.
- Enjoys participation in cultural activities.
- Can support within HR for ongoing companywide projects both admin and systems
- Is a trusted advisor to support Business leaders & employees with local expert knowledge on employee policy and procedures .
- Partners effectively with the broader, global HR organization and other key groups such as Legal and Finance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or relevant certification desirable
- 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements
- Experienced in HR practices, policies, and employment law
- Experience working with HRIS tools
- Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint
