What We'll Bring:

We are a trusted partner to businesses and consumers around the world. In 33 countries, TransUnion helps more than 45,000 businesses manage risk, reduce costs and improve lending decisions. We also maintain credit histories on more than 500 million consumers around the globe, helping them achieve their financial goals.
We’re seeking a Front-End Developer with strong HTML/CSS expertise, proven experience working in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and exceptional collaboration skills. This role requires someone who can go beyond executing instructions — someone who can engage directly with marketing and MarTech partners, translate requirements into scalable solutions that may include new components, and ensure high-quality, detail oriented implementation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to self QA their work in a fast paced environment.

What You'll Bring:

Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including the ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot code from scratch or adapt existing code/frameworks.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles and hands-on experience with responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Angular.js, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of W3C standards, accessibility considerations, and browser-specific nuances across Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.
  • Ability to conduct cross‑browser and cross‑device testing to validate code changes and ensure pixel‑perfect execution.
  • Familiarity with website performance analytics, SEO/SEM concepts, and a willingness to learn and experiment with new tools.
  • Minimum 5+ years working with corporate web properties (Internet, Intranet, or Extranet environments).
  • Experience working with information architecture, page design, and usability principles.

Communication, Collaboration & Requirements Gathering

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate marketing or business requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks.
  • Comfort meeting directly with marketing partners and stakeholders to discuss objectives, clarify needs, and provide guidance or alternative solutions where beneficial.
  • Strong commitment to follow‑up communication, ensuring stakeholders understand timelines, changes, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Ability to manage expectations, ask thoughtful questions, and drive clarity in requirements before development begins.

Quality, Organization & Ownership

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and consistency in design, layout, and content execution.
  • Strong self‑QA skills, ensuring work is thoroughly tested before stakeholder review or publication.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple concurrent projects, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment where adaptability and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Strategic & Global Web Experience

  • Partner with global marketing teams to identify solutions that meet campaign and product needs while aligning with broader web and brand strategies.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve and standardize global site experiences while supporting local market needs.
  • Collaborate with global technology partners to represent user experience and front‑end perspectives in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support enhancements to page templates and components by identifying recurring issues or opportunities for enterprise-level improvements.

    Impact You'll Make:

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
