Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Specialist – Quality in Chennai.
What a typical day looks like:
- Conduct ISO internal audits and Management Reviews
- Ensure Document Management System is well maintained
- Diagnose RPN levels in FMEA and drive/coach operations to take suitable actions
- Play role of an evaluator in approving CAPA
- Facilitate ISO External audits
- Conduct trainings to Internal auditors on the various clauses of ISO 9001:2015
- Publish audit findings and persuade operations teams to take actions for findings with
- deviations
- Sustain Quality Management System from time to time by taking certain innovative
- approaches
- Must work with operations teams to implement Quality Management Systems.
- Timely escalations of Quality issues to operations team & ensure resolution.
- Conduct follow up audit in defined frequency.
- Support operations team in improving KPI's by performing process improvement changes
- Prepare weekly and Monthly Quality reports
- Conduct IATF internal audits and Management Reviews
- Conduct trainings to Internal auditors on the various clauses of IATF 16949
- Preferably possess experience in supply chain functions
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing and implementation experience in Lean
- Exposure to Automations and any global automation journey in the existing role
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Good Communication, Attention to Details, Flexible and Adaptable
- Analyze data & identify trends & issues, make suggestions for improvements & have
- strong analytical skills.
- Preferably a B.E. candidate or Diploma
- Min 5-7 years of relevant work experience
- Must be ISO Lead Auditor Certified in ISO 9001
- Preferable to possess a IATF 16949 Lead auditor certification as well
- Green Belt or Black Belt in Six Sigma
- Good proficiency in Excel and Power point
- Flexible to work in night shifts if need be
