Role Summary/Purpose:
The Marketing Quality Analyst is tasked with ensuring the accuracy of marketing campaigns. This position involves creating and organizing data files for fulfillment campaigns to verify them against specific marketing and qualifying purchase criteria, handling the distribution of reward points or certificates, and developing and testing rules to verify qualifying criteria for clients of SYF. Additionally, this role is in charge of verifying all fulfillment campaigns manually, making sure they are done so accurately and in compliance. The analyst is also responsible for continuous Offer Review Board (ORB) and Quality Assurance (QA) tasks aimed at reducing risks in marketing campaigns by enhancing policies, procedures, processes, systems, and training related to the Cosmos Platform data.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage marketing campaign data file processing for specific SYF clients
Provide consultative input to internal process owners and client teams on best practices for file selection, targeting and segmentation within fulfillment campaign validation
Work with internal and external partners on the execution of campaign files including defining requirements, managing deliverables and auditing fulfilment campaign files
Develop process improvements within the fulfilment campaign data file validation process
Subject matter expertise in fulfilment campaign validation tools, SYF data warehouses, segmentation reporting, suppression exclusions and file outputs
Ensure all fulfilment campaign file validation process controls are followed and file outputs are completed in a compliant manner according to SYF guidelines
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1+ years of experience between performing analytics, or in lieu of a degree, 3+ years of like experience in analytics.
1+ years of Reporting experience using SAS, SQL and other comparative database languages
1+ years with database marketing experience within financial services focusing on client lifecycle/acquisition management
Self-starter with ability to deal with ambiguity, should be able to do multi-tasking with time management
Minimum 1+ years of SAS/SQL, Python/R and building BI reports
Minimum 1+ years of experience with Tableau to build data visualizations.
Minimum 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
It is essential to explore the capabilities of Generative AI and to be open to implementing changes that leverage this technology.
Strong communications skills
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
1-2 Years of experience in financial institutions
Previous experience maintaining customer/client/vendor relationships
Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
Proven ability to manage, execute and validate fulfilment campaigns in a detail-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new procedures/programs
Experience in using the FDR tools like Document direct and Document analyzer, model building, FD document direct is an added advantage
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1+ years of experience between performing analytics, or in lieu of a degree, 3+ years of like experience in analytics.
Work Timings: 12PM to 9 PM IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
