We are seeking a Business Analyst focused on our Market Insights solutions to join our team. Our software product empowers healthcare clients to identify market opportunities, engage potential patient populations, and enhance provider and patient outcomes. We continue to be optimistic about expanding and enriching our data assets and models to advance differentiated services and offerings for our clients.

A Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the use cases and business/ technical requirements of a solution to drive documented requirement gathering, vetting, backlog prioritization, and execution through our development and engineering teams.  

Major Responsibilities 

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (SMEs, PM, PO, and Engineering and Development teams) and users to understand and document use cases/needs.  

  • Understand and document both functional and non-functional requirements including user stories and acceptance criteria.  

  • Write detailed user stories that translate business and technical requirements into executable work with clear acceptance criteria. 

  • Product Development and Backlog Management  

  • Create, maintain, and support a healthy product backlog of work vetted with key stakeholders and fully estimated to support grooming and prioritization activities.  

  • Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, engineering teams, and product management to ensure they understand scope and purpose of user stories and features as well as non-functional needs.  

  • Independently own and escalate prioritization decisions of the user story backlog, make recommendations or decisions as needed for conflict priorities, and escalate execution or delivery risks. 

  • Agile Process Management  

  • Build and maintain agile processes in support of an analytics-based web application with complex data schemas.  

  • Manage projects, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables. 

  • Stakeholder Communication and Analysis  

  • Communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs and projects or initiatives are delivered on time and in scope.  

  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis as needed to stakeholders in support of key decision making. 

  • Compliance and Support  

  • Keep up with regulatory compliance and data usage agreements in support of appropriately handling data assets from partners and suppliers.  

  • Perform light user management and user support operations.
