Job Purpose:  

Be an effective bridge between Business and the Data IT team:

  • Establish business needs with Business or Management teams.

  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes with IT team

  • Assist with data standardization and defining data governance norms.

  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity from a business standpoint

​Responsibilities:
  • Have and build adequate knowledge of the Business, the routes to market, adjacencies, competition, organic and in-organic avenues of Growth etc. so as to be an all-round go-to person for all things data and information in APJ.

  • Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data, helping us to drive quality improvement that contributes to the continuous improvement of our reporting infrastructure, and standardize executive level reporting and tracking.

  • Enable effective decision making by aggregating and analyzing data from multiple sources and compiling it into actionable and easy-to-understand insights and recommendations.

  • Drive the adoption of a data analytics and dashboards across TD SYNNEX APJ

  • Complex problem solving by proactively gathering the right data from appropriate sources, conducting root cause analysis resulting in achievable business recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • >5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Advantage to have working knowledge of SAP and experience in working with Power BI or other BI

  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

  • Able to use common office equipment.

  • Possesses strong data entry skills.

  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.

  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

  • Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)

  • Able to negotiates skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.

  • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.

  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.

  • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an advanced level.
