Job Description

The purpose of this position is to manage Technology and Competence for Current core and Future core technologies as per Product Roadmap. To Support design, testing, and optimization of new manufacturing processes or improvements to existing processes with respect to SQCD aspect. Drive Frugal process innovations. Manage Process Development Cell / Workshop.

Qualifications

BE / B tech. Polymer technology / Mechanical.

Additional Information

Experience: 3-5 Years of experience (minimum 3years hands on experience at different molding processes and technologies.)

  • Strong technical knowledge on Process improvements / developments methodologies. Hands on experience and advanced level knowledge in various manufacturing technologies (plant specific like Polymer processing , moldings technology etc.), Plastic technology. 
  • Knowledge on Eng. drawing, Engineering statistics (Machine & Process Capability), SPC, GD& T, MSA etc.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best
    practices related to process development, digital technologies,
    automation etc.Aware of
  • Knowledge on standard Digital solutions, Digital Competency (Power BI, Tableau, etc) and Emerging technologies (Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence) Strong networking with stakeholders (internal/external), Assertive, Collaborative, Strong analytical & Problem-solving skills, highly committed.
  • Identify and address technical issues or deviations during the
    MAE try-out and commissioning. Prepare reports and detail documentations summarizing process development activities, findings, and results.
    Collaborate on optimizing processes to improve OEE, Design & development of fixtures for quick change and poke yoke.
  • Empowering and coaching team for development. Adaptability in changing environment and passion towards learning future core and emerging technologies Soft skills like delegation, negotiation, conflict management, networking, communication & collaboration
  • Process Audits (IATF, PS/QMM, etc)
