The Sr. Engineer, QA will design test plans for 4G/5G technologies, automate test cases, analyze test logs, and verify products for quality aspects.

What you'll do:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and implement the same in testing.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plan for 4G/5G technologies as per 3GPP specifications and execution.
- Automate test cases to be available for regression including adding enhancements to the framework as required.
- Design and build end-to-end test setups based on the test requirements.
- Analyze and debug logs for test simulators and systems under test during the test cycle.
- Resolve issues in end-to-end or RF test setups
- Verify various Parallel Wireless Products and Applications for Functional, Stability, Performance, and User experience aspects.
- Work with test equipment like Signal Analyzers, Generators, Oscilloscope
- Suggest improvements and changes to the product to enhance product quality.
What you must have:
- Experience in RAN testing for 8-15 years
- Good understanding of architecture, call flows and design for testing 4G/5G access technologies.
- Thorough understanding of 3GPP standards covering PHY, MAC, PDCP, RLC, RRC, S1AP and X2AP protocols
- Ability to create test scripts as per the requirements and execute the same with both in-house and standard test tools
- Experience with LAN/WAN, WLAN, Routing protocols – L2 and L3, TCP/IP, QoS
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX based platforms.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with python and shell scripts.
- Knowledge of handling and troubleshooting User Equipment (Mobiles)
- Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools (Ex: JIRA)
- Knowledge on OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes technologies
- Knowledge on RF signal tests and analysis

- Bachelor’s (B.E/B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education and experience.
