Job Description SummaryThis role is well suited for a highly motivated, growth-oriented individual responsible for driving technical design and implementation activities in Planisware Enterprise PPM for the Project Execution Domain for GE Vernova Electrification Systems. The responsibilities will cover both managing day-to-day support activities, as well as gathering requirements for enhancements, and executing them in Planisware Enterprise PPM for Electrification Systems. In this capacity, you will interact closely with Business Key Users and PMO Teams, as well as other Digital Teams. This role will require an understanding of EPC project & program execution processes, as well as in-depth expertise of Planisware Enterprise PPM. Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible to execute enhancements within Planisware PPM
- Collaborate with DT (Digital Technology) colleagues and leadership and Business teams globally in defining product backlog
- Develop deep domain, technical and product skills and expertise in Planisware PPM
- Work with Business partners and cross-functional leads to understand business requirements, create solution proposals and specification & technical design documentation
- Provide valuable feedback, guidance to the business teams and have methodical approach to project execution and issues resolution
- Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities
- Own and manage Backlog & Sprint planning & execution
- Be responsible for providing clear and regular communication
- Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable requirements
- Be an Expert in Agile & Scrum Methodologies
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- 5+ years of professional experience in modern PPM Tools, with at least 1 years work experience on Planisware Enterprise PPM, or significant experience in modern PPM tools (such as Planview, Oracle Unifier/P6, Hexagon Ecosys, and others) with the ability to rapidly scale technical skills on Planisware Enterprise PPM
- Experience working in a Matrix environment with global stakeholders
- Agile SW Project Execution experience
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Should be willing to travel (<10%).
Desired Characteristics:
- Deep knowledge of Planisware PPM v7 in an enterprise setting
- Planisware PPM Certifications
- Good understanding of EPC Business project management needs and methodologies
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive consensus
- Strong knowledge of Software Development lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Knowledge about DevOps processes and structures
