Atlassian is looking for a Sr. Finance Transformation Analyst with an interest in delivering Finance operations projects, to join our Finance Transformation team. You will succeed by demonstrating curiosity, working both individually and collectively to support the long-term Finance vision, managing to results and escalating risks, and embracing change.
You will join our expanding Finance Transformation team and help deliver analysis and support projects that allow us to establish industry-leading Finance and Accounting processes. You will partner with teams to conduct current-state analysis, develop models to estimate benefits and return on investment, help design future-state processes, support the roll-out of enhanced technologies, and support the organization in managing change.
You have a desire to design solutions. While responsible for project analyses, you will also think creatively and build skills by helping envision what the future of Finance is for a growing, global SaaS company.
Your future team
Our Finance Transformation team comprises people with backgrounds in Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Strategic Operations. We lead projects to help Atlassian's finance operations become more scalable. This is a fully remote role, reporting to our Senior Manager, Finance Transformation, with a PST/MST/EST timezone requirement.

What you'll do
- Develop analyses and collect data to support "data baselining" efforts for current-state operations and prepare relevant return on investment analyses.
- Support working sessions to understand existing processes and capture requirements to define new processes.
- Help develop project plans and participate in status meetings to share progress and risks.
- Manage project communications, including meeting minutes, communication plans, templates, and progress reports.
- Support several transformation project activities including user acceptance testing, training material development, job aid drafting, and project and change management
- Research industry trends and leading practices in Finance to apply in project work.
- Ask clarifying questions to reduce ambiguity, work objectively on facts and data, and understand the possible effects of decisions.
Your background
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Business, or Accounting).
- 3+ years of experience working on Finance Transformation programs is a plus
- Collaborative nature to excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Written and verbal skills to help the team present complex concepts to a diverse set of audiences across levels and departments.
- Experience using data to conduct analyses and produce insights.
- Experience getting in the details to manage assignments.
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
- Experience or familiarity with the Atlassian suite of solutions is a plus.
- Outstanding collaboration skills to build relationships and provide ongoing clarity.
