Sr. Manager, DevOps & Test Automation Engineering

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – DevOps & Test Automation to lead our DevOps and QA automation strategy across internal IT applications. This role will drive the implementation of best practices across key enterprise platforms including Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Dell Boomi, and Tableau. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and a track record of building scalable DevOps pipelines and test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality, controlled, and measurable releases.
Key Responsibilities:
  • DevOps Strategy & Execution:
  •  Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for internal enterprise applications.
  •  Establish scalable and secure DevOps best practices tailored for multi-platform environments.
  •  Govern release management processes, ensuring version control, rollback capabilities, and environment consistency.
  •  Drive observability and measurement around deployments, including key performance and quality metrics.
  • Automation Framework Ownership:
  •  Collaborate with QA and functional teams to identify and prioritize regression and smoke testing scenarios for automation.
  •  Lead the selection, customization, and deployment of test automation tools.
  •  Define and enforce test data management practices and integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
  •  Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
  •  Work closely with application owners, business analysts, and technical leads to ensure release readiness.
  •  Promote a culture of continuous integration, testing, and delivery across cross-functional teams.
  •  Provide mentoring and leadership to junior engineers and QA analysts.
  • Governance & Compliance:
  •  Ensure compliance with internal IT security, audit, and change control requirements.
  •  Support audit and SOX processes with reliable traceability and change documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  •  10-12 years of overall experience in DevOps, software release engineering, or test automation, with at least 4-6 years in a leadership role.
  •  Proven experience in setting up DevOps and test automation across enterprise IT systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Dell Boomi, and Tableau.
  •  Strong understanding of source control (Git/GitHub), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.), and test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Tosca, etc.).
  •  Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
  •  Familiarity with ITIL-based release/change management processes.
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Experience in internal IT organizations supporting enterprise applications.
  •  Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  •  Certifications in DevOps, Agile, or test automation frameworks.
