The Impact of a Sr. Product Manager at Coupa:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of our Clarity Design System while driving AI-powered capabilities that shape the future of our product experiences. This role sits at the intersection of design, technology, and innovation, enabling consistency, scalability, and intelligence across our platform.
You’ll partner closely with design, engineering, and AI teams to ensure our design system becomes a robust foundation for delivering delightful, accessible, and efficient user experiences—while also integrating cutting-edge AI components to support our broader AI strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Own the vision and roadmap for our Design System, ensuring it aligns with product and brand strategy.
- Define and deliver AI-driven enhancements within the design system, such as adaptive components, personalization, and intelligent UI patterns.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, AI, Product) to implement scalable design solutions across multiple products and platforms.
- Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and contribution models for the Design System.
- Drive adoption and evangelization of the Design System across internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate with AI product leaders to identify opportunities for integrating AI-driven capabilities in core components and workflows.
- Monitor emerging trends in design systems, AI, and UX to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Define and track success metrics for both design system adoption and AI integration impact.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- 5+ years of product management experience, including experience with design systems or design tooling at scale.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design tokens, component libraries, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working with AI/ML technologies and understanding their application in design or product experiences.
- Proven ability to manage complex roadmaps, prioritize competing demands, and deliver outcomes at scale.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence across design, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.), design tools (Figma)
- Background in component-driven development and design-to-code workflows.
- Passion for creating consistent, beautiful, and intelligent user experiences.
