Extreme Networks is looking for a motivated and self-driven Oracle CPQ (BigMachines/BMI) techno-functional developer. As a CPQ Software Developer you will be an essential member of an agile team, responsible for the support and delivery of functionality to our renewal quoting business.
Role Proficiency:
The Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) developer will perform hands-on technical implementation, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Oracle CPQ platform.

Technical & Functional Skills:
• Working knowledge of ABO/Subscription Workbench and Commerce Processes
• Experienced with CPQ Data Tables/Attributes/Rules/BLM Scripts/Steps (Advanced Forwarding Rule)
• CPQ BOM Structure/Integration (API/SOAP)/mapping rules, BOM Tables etc.
• BML Library Functions and Scripts (BMQL)
• Analytics/Rating Engine
• Document/Email Designer
• Strong working knowledge of Advanced Pricing Models and multi-tier pricing structures in channel selling scenarios.
• Partner Organization and User management (integration with Salesforce.com)
• Advanced Approvals routing and configuration of financial thresholds leveraging pricing analytics
• Quote/Line Level Rules (Validation, Access/Hiding, Constraint, Filter)
• Strong knowledge of the CPQ Data Model
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to see "big picture" and to prioritize.
• Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Exposure to Oracle CPQ Cloud Integration using pre-built connectors and point to point integration with Salesforce (SFDC) and Oracle ERP
• Experience with web services standards and technology including WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XML-Schema, XSL, WS standards/Security etc.
• Experienced in Bulk Data Upload/Migration Strategy.
• Understanding of Subscription Management Cloud (Oracle SMC) and Service/Subscription Contracts schemas as they relate to contract lines and associated assets to drive renewal quoting.
Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the delivery/introduction of feature enhancements and new capabilities with focus on CPQ/BMI.
• Perform detail root cause analysis while working with other technical, functional, business groups experts and include pros and cons of each proposal along with the recommended solution
• Write technical design documentation for business problems and provide short- and long-term solutions when needed. Draft test cases for the functionality configured/designed and identify and document technical gaps within existing solutions
• Review and give architecture, performance, and code quality standards compliance for development on the Oracle CPQ/BigMachines platform.
• Support and triage customer issues, defects, enhancement requests and backlog items conducting any necessary technical research to help with estimating level of effort for prioritization.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, testing, deployment, and support.
Education:
• Minimum 4-8 years of experience in successful Oracle CPQ project implementations or overall Industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science or related fields (or 5+ yrs. of equivalent experience).
