As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead testing efforts across projects, collaborate closely with development teams, and help define best practices for testing and quality assurance. This role demands a deep understanding of QA methodologies, automation, and strong problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional user experiences.
What You Will Do in This Role
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working with the team to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform performance, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure robustness of software releases.
- Continuously improve testing processes and advocate for best practices in quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance . Automation experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or similar.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is an advantage.
