Sr. QA Engineer
PayTrace- Remote, US
What you'll be doing:
- Review and Maintain our current automated testing scripts/processes
- Develop new automated testing scripts/processes
- Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates
- Managing a defect log, issue resolution and validation of the fix
- Develop, Document and Maintain testing strategies and testing scenarios
- Collaborate with other Engineers, Architects, Quality Assurance, Quality Automation, System Engineers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters in solving new and existing technical challenges
- Analyze and determine proper testing procedures/processes
- Improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage through lessons learned.
- Identify product performance issues during new product development.
- Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum (5) years of experience with QA and testing methodologies; payments industry experience preferred
- Minimum (5) years of experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs
- Minimum (3) years of experience in test automation with Test Cafe
- Minimum (1) year of experience with Linux/Ubuntu
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with testing web applications
- Experience with testing SOAP, REST, or similar web services
- Experience with source control such as Git, SVN
- Ability to write, debug and maintain test scads/scripts
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic, and timeline sensitive work environment
Salary Range: $80,000- $110,000
