The role involves managing and enhancing PopSockets' e-commerce platforms, developing solutions, mentoring a team, and conducting testing and debugging.
The Role:
PopSockets is looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join the technology team to continually grow our Ecommerce platforms and ecosystem. This position is responsible for managing, maintaining and enhancing the PopSockets websites through SFCC software development (SFRA), OCAPI, modifying/creating web services, and providing architecture, security and innovation recommendations. This position will also support the website merchandisers and business users with building content assets and Page Builder templates, and managing catalog data and site configurations. This position reports to the Director of Web Development as either 100% remote or based out of our headquarters in Boulder, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to design, build, and support cross-device software solutions.
- Develop and implement Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) ecommerce solutions.
- Provide documentation and training to other developers.
- Configure and customize B2C commerce solutions to meet business needs.
- Lead and mentor a small development team.
- Code review and approve pull requests, manage code branches
- Conduct testing and debugging.
- Identify technology solutions and integrations.
- Recommend coding standards and process efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 6+ years of SFCC front-end or full stack development experience.
- Strong JavaScript (server and client-side) and one other major programming language.
- Full software development lifecycle experience.
- Solid understanding of Ecommerce concepts, pricing, inventory management, taxation, and payment processors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work US hours
