The Sr. SOA/OSB Specialist will design, implement, and maintain SOA and OSB solutions, ensuring integration and performance while supporting enterprise applications.
ProArch is seeking a talented Sr. SOA/OSB Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) configurations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services and provide robust support for enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SOA and OSB solutions that adhere to industry best practices.
- Configure and manage Oracle Service Bus environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with application development teams to identify integration requirements and provide necessary support.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SOA services and OSB configurations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for SOA architecture, design patterns, and process flows.
- Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and enhancement of existing SOA/OSB applications.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SOA and ESB technologies.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on SOA concepts and best practices.
- Independently design, develop, integrate, and test complex system interfaces using Oracle SOA Suite 12c on Unix/Linux platforms, adhering to best practices.
- Provide Core Java/Spring and shell-based solutions to enhance the existing interface framework.
- Design and implement business processes using Oracle BPEL composites with JDeveloper.
- Implement and route web services (SOAP and REST) using Oracle OSB (Oracle Service Bus) and integrate them with BPEL on Unix/Linux.
- Design and develop SQL queries, and interpret/debug PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
- knowledgeable in file transfer protocols like FTP/SFTP & MFT.
- Support existing programs by triaging failures, resolving issues, and implementing solutions, participating in on-call duties to meet project milestones or client SLAs, and engaging in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions for requirement gathering and documentation.
- Support project releases, maintenance, patching, and security tasks.
- Manage incident, defect, and enhancement tracking using Jira.
- Manage design artifacts in SharePoint/Confluence.
- Keep the Integration Lead/Manager informed of all interface-related activities, issues, and risks.
