We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with proven experience in the development of key internal and customer-facing applications. The Sr. Software Engineer will work closely with Lead Software Engineer, project managers, data analysts and other developers in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms, architectures and technologies. The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, and should have a strong understanding of the software development processes and methodologies.
- Agile development of software
- Continuous integration and automated testing of developed code
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
- Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects
- Deployment of production ready systems and infrastructure
- Monitoring of running processes to ensure proper functioning of software
- Identifying and providing solutions for common needs across stakeholders
- Working with end users and incorporating feedback into the product
- Work with Product Management and Architecture Team to chart Engineering backlog
- Reach out and demo the products to Customers and help them use our products efficiently
- Plan sprint backlogs and resolve any impediments
- Commitment to deliver the product on-time without compromising on quality
- Fully accountable and reachable with client centric approach to resolving issues
- Strong programming skills with 5+ years of experience;
- Full-stack development with strong skills in Scala, Java, Spring boot, PL/SQL Micro Services
- Strong experience building and using REST API
- Experience working with SQL database
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment; Git, Jenkins, GoCD
- Experience running production service on cloud based environment, like AWS
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with trouble shooting distributed applications
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Experience with agile methods, DevOps and tools
- Proven experience producing and deploying production software
- Ability to work well with a distributed team of strong performers
