  • Ensure application and infrastructure visibility post‑migration

Backup, DR & Resiliency

  • Configure backup strategies for migrated workloads using AWS services
  • Support disaster recovery (DR) setup and testing for AWS environments
  • Execute and validate DR drills and recovery tests
  • Ensure RTO and RPO objectives are met for migrated systems

Configuration & Reliability Enablement

  • Support configuration management using Ansible, Cloud‑Init, or AWS SSM
  • Perform post‑migration validation, stabilization, and tuning
  • Participate in incident troubleshooting related to migrated workloads

Security & Compliance (Financial Services)

  • Implement security controls including IAM roles, security groups, encryption
  • Ensure migrated workloads comply with CLIENT security and audit standards
  • Work with security teams during risk reviews and compliance checks

Required Skills

Mandatory

  • Strong experience in on‑prem to AWS migration
  • Hands‑on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, EBS, S3, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with lift‑and‑shift / rehost migrations
  • Strong Linux system administration
  • Scripting skills: Python and Bash

SRE / Operations Tooling

  • Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (hands‑on preferred)

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
