The Role

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintenance, support and deployment of the JDE One World/EnterpriseOne.
  • Perform day-to-day support, administration and problem resolution of the applications. Also responsible for the daily maintenance, patch updates and testing.
  • OMW installation, setup and project promotion and administration.
  • Server and client package build and deployments.
  • Apply ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Service Pack upgrades.
  • JDE Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW
  • Create and manage environments, path codes and instances.
  • Monitor and manage application system performance and availability.
  • Provide complete and timely support for end users.
  • Keep current and up to date with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components.
  • Interact extensively with the other IT support.
  • Proactive performance tuning & risk mitigation.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the roll out of additional modules.
  • Assist with the roll out of JDE to additional business units.

Skills:

  • 5+ years JD Edwards CNC implementation and administration experience.
  • Minimum 1 full EnterpriseOne install in an Intel/SQL Server environment.
  • 2+ years of Web Sphere or OAS and JAS experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Oracle 12c database or greater.
  • Direct experience supporting JDE EnterpriseOne applications preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with end users.
  • Must have worked in an environment that practiced change control and version management in a production environment.
  • EnterpriseOne upgrade experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the JD Edwards One World Technical Foundation tools a plus.
