About the Role:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying, and/or maintaining applications in the consumer environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug, and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. What You Will Do in This Role
- Responsible for developing software in Java, object-oriented databases, and the eCommerce platform.
- Responsible for building REST web services and designing interfaces between UI and REST service.
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Participating fully in the agile software development process through the entire software lifecycle.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new code to meet the Business needs of the stories and features.
- Be ready to work on a range of technologies and components, including user interfaces, services, and databases.
- Define and evolve the architecture of the components you are working on and contribute to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level.
- Work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline.
- Developing front-end website architecture and user interactions on web pages.
- Developing back-end website applications.
What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role
- Engineering graduate or postgraduate in computer science, with 6 to 9 years of experience in Web development
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Java and UI stack.
- Proficient experience with web technologies, frameworks, and tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, XML, jQuery, Spring, etc.
- Should be well versed with State Management, Redux, Reducers, JavaScript, and CSS in ReactJS/UI.
- Practical experience in test-driven development and constant refactoring in a continuous integration environment.
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming is required, as knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Development/Agile tools experience, including use of Jira, Git
- Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
- Experience in performing Functional Analysis is highly desirable.
