SS&P - BP&S (Business Performance & Strategy) Team Manager Asia - Linkou
Purpose & Responsibilities of the Job:
As Business Performance & Strategy Team Manager SS&P Asia, you act as a staff member in SS&P Northeast Asia, SS&P Southeast Asia, and SS&P China teams. You will be responsible to drive operational excellence across SS&P teams in Asia at strategic, tactical and operational levels with collaboration and support from BP&S organization in Veldhoven, Netherlands.
Those operational excellence initiatives and projects include but not limited to
Risk, ESG & Contract Management
Analytics & Data Management
Portfolio & Project Management
Learning & Knowledge Management
Business Process Management
Management support (Chief of staff) including establishing appropriate cadence of management review meetings (MOR / MOP / Carousel), and follow-up on critical actions to closure
In this role, you will lead a team of risk/compliance experts, data scientists, Business process SMEs and project leads. As group leader, you will be responsible to establish flexible & efficient way of working for all BP&S activities in the region.
You will have to drive increased efficiency and coverage of business needs in all the SS&P in the supporting organizations and processes and take ownership, while demonstrating a strong drive to achieve meaningful end results and show determination in face of obstacles.
You are able to signal process and operations improvement opportunities and continuously seek for new ways of working long-term, mid-term and short-term in ASML fast changing environment, to improve the quality of the overall organization work deliverables.
You are the linking pin between sourcing and supply chain teams, and various ASML departments in US (Asian countries) and headquarter in Veldhoven, Netherland. You’re outstanding communicator and can operate in matrix structure, securing right resources & deliverables, also under pressure, driving alignment with all stakeholders and identify issues which require action.
Key Requirements
Master degree, MBA is a plus.
12+ year or more work experience in international environment. Experience of sales key account management, strategic sourcing or procurement, and/or people management of a complex organization in Fortune 500 companies is a plus.
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experienced people leader with ability to develop talent and form high performing team and ability to influence people across various hierarchy levels, including those located remotely
Excellent strategic thinking, ability to anticipate and prioritize biggest business needs, consolidate complex piece by piece information into a structural action plan driving for regular progress and review
Excellent stakeholder balancing competency, ability to analyze and address business needs by creating and executing operational excellence roadmap for the region
Ability and maturity to work autonomously to identify and solve problems, able to create sense of urgency across teams in a timely manner and escalate when necessary
Leverage available resources and expertise in the most effective & efficient way
A team player, business savvy, tech-savvy, fast learner, results oriented
A proactive and enthusiastic person, having courage to take initiative and prioritize, can-do attitude, and drive for success
Location: Linkou, Tainan, Singapore, Shanghai or Beijing.
This position will report directly to one of SS&P Site Heads and dotted line to other site Heads in the same region (Asia), depends on location
