- Drive compensation projects focused on refining salary structures, leveling frameworks, and other key initiatives that support our global growth.
- Build powerful insights through data — from financial reports to ad hoc analysis and modeling — to guide smarter compensation decisions and highlight business performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal and optimize systems and processes using best practices and scalable solutions.
- Support compensation operations like role evaluations, salary reviews, and data analysis, while maintaining the integrity of our job architecture and planning framework.
- Co-ordinate annual benefit renewals and re-broking exercises in conjunction with appointed brokers and vendors
- Shape our benefits strategy by using market data to evaluate and evolve programs that meet the diverse needs of our employees around the world.
- Support benefit rollouts, from project managing new program launches such as enhanced family leave programs (parental, maternity, paternity) across EMEA and APAC, coordinating with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.
- Develop compelling communications that help employees and leaders clearly understand and appreciate the value of our compensation and benefits offerings.
- Be a trusted point of contact, responding to employee benefit and compensation inquiries with clarity and care to ensure a positive experience at every touchpoint.
What you will bring to Coupa:
- 5-8 years of compensation and benefits experience, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort working with complex data.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, global setting.

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Demonstrated project management skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in compensation analysis and global benefits operations
- Strong Excel and data management skills with a sharp eye for detail
- A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene
To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
