Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience 7+ years
  • Extensive administration knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in setting up, configuring, managing, and fine-tuning Atlassian DC or Cloud environments.
  • Expertise in developing, maintaining, and supporting automation workflows in Jira.
  • Proficient in configuring projects, workflows, fields, screens, and Jira dashboards.
  • Varied experience in Jira and Confluence customization.
  • Consolidation of custom fields.
  • Designing and maintaining custom projects, workflows, schemes, screens, and field configurations in Atlassian On-Prem or Cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of one scripting language, such as Groovy or Python.
  • Thorough experience with the ScriptRunner plugin.
  • Proficient in multiple add-ons to enhance Jira and Confluence functionality, preferably EazyBI, Projectrak, and BigPicture.
  • Migration experience from DC to Cloud.
  • Integration knowledge of Jira/Confluence with other systems
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills for troubleshooting issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and client exposure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and customize Jira workflows for varying business requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation workflows in Jira and Confluence.
  • Configure and optimize projects, dashboards, and workflows tailored to client needs.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure seamless migration from DC to Cloud, addressing all technical and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the Atlassian ecosystem to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
  • Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
  • Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
  • Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
  • Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
