Responsibilities:

•           Administrate and configure monitoring tools such as: ZenOss, Zabbix, Kibana/OpenSearch, Apache Superset, OpsGenie (JSM), Uptrends. (40%)

•           Design, deploy, and maintain monitoring and observability tools by configuring data collection, polling, event management, and alerting pipelines across all platforms using internal APIs, telemetry sources, and notification systems (30%)

•           Design, develop, and implement new monitoring and tooling solutions, develop scripts and automation to improve monitoring workflows (20%)

•           Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards & reports, documentation, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) (10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

•           Engineer's degree in Computer Science, Systems, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.

•           5+ years of hands-on experience as a Monitoring Engineer, Observability Engineer, or Systems Administrator.

•           Proven administrator level experience with at least two enterprise monitoring tools such as: ZenOss, Zabbix, Kibana/OpenSearch, Grafana, OpsGenie or equivalent

•           Scripting proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, Perl, or similar.

•           Strong understanding of monitoring interfaces and protocols: SNMP, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, TCP/IP, Webhooks, Syslog, JMX, or similar.

•           Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team

Desired Qualifications:

•           Knowledge of mobile telecommunications and Telco core network concepts (MVNO, roaming).

•           Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, MSK, S3, SageMaker, Lambda).

•           Experience with log management platforms (ELK/EFK stack, OpenSearch).

•           Exposure to workflow automation platforms (N8N, Ansible, or equivalent low code/API orchestration tools
