Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Staff Salesforce Engineer to join our engineering organization and play a pivotal role in building world-class CRM systems from the ground up. As a technical leader, you will shape our Salesforce ecosystem, define best practices, architect scalable solutions, and ensure our CRM platform becomes a strategic foundation for the company. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering—to design systems that accelerate growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and integrations.
  • Lead end-to-end development cycles—from requirements gathering to release management, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Define and enforce Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Serve as the technical expert and mentor for other Salesforce developers and admins.
  • Partner with GTM stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmap items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance data integrity, and create seamless user experiences.
  • Provide technical leadership on multi-team initiatives, integrations, and architectural decisions.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external/internal systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
  • Optimize the data model, automation, and configurations to improve performance and scalability.
  • Maintain rigorous standards around data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex system issues across Salesforce environments.
  • Lead code reviews, technical design reviews, and release management processes.
  • Introduce new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development efficiency and platform reliability.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong track record of building enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce platform fundamentals.
  • Proven experience architecting and scaling CRM systems, ideally starting from a greenfield environment.
  • Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud (or other CPQ/CLM solutions), Experience Cloud and core Salesforce modules.
  • Hands-on experience with API development, REST/SOAP integrations, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), scratch orgs, and DevOps best practices.
  • Ability to drive complex technical initiatives with minimal direction and high autonomy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect are highly preferred

As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
