We are looking for a STEM Content Analyst to join our Conferences in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a key team that gathers and processes conference data to support multiple products and services across Clarivate. The team consists of 5 people across the UK and India (Chennai and Hyderabad) and this role reports into the STEM Content Analysis Conference and Journal Manager.

We have a wide range of skills within the team, and we would love to speak with you if you have excellent attention to detail, confidence in collaborating across various teams, and a strong desire to learn new skills

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences
  • At least 2 years of experience in a global corporate setting
  • Experience in scientific content analysis and editing, with high attention to detail and ability to explain scientific data
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools/
  • Action orientated and proactive with good organizational skills

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical drug pipelines, drug development and clinical phases.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with contributors from various multidisciplinary teams
  • Capable of managing complexity and take decisions
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to process change

What will you be doing in this role?  

  • Editing and publishing Conference reports to CCI product
  • Liaising with, and supporting, conference attendees
  • Ensuring high quality of reports, with accountability for timeliness of publication
  • Taking an active role within the team to ensure progression of workflows in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met

About the Team   

The Conferences team is a small but pivotal group responsible for processing and analyzing pharmaceutical data presented at global conferences, as well as organizing internal attendance at these high-level events. Working closely with the wider team under the Journals and Conferences Manager, they initiate the process of ingesting and processing conference data, managing complex workflows that ultimately provide key data for curation of records in the Cortellis suite of products. Additionally, the team produces high-quality content in the form of conference reports and summary abstracts published in Cortellis CI.

Hours of Work  

This role is 40hrs/week on a Permanent Contract. Clarivate operates in a hybrid system (WFO /WFH) with specific rules for each site.
