About the Role
Our FP&A team exists to set long and short term growth targets, while helping the business make financially strategic decisions that support these plans. We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Strategic Finance, Infrastructure Lead to join our finance team with a dedicated focus on cloud spend and infrastructure investment strategy. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the company's long-term cloud and infrastructure roadmap by providing deep financial insight, rigorous modeling, and strategic partnership with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, experience in cloud cost structures (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and a passion for leveraging data to drive meaningful business outcomes.

Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $164,700 - $215,025
Zone B: $148,500 - $193,875
Zone C: $136,800 - $178,600
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive financial modeling to evaluate cloud infrastructure costs, pricing scenarios, and ROI of investments, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Lead strategic financial analysis for long-term cloud capacity planning and infrastructure initiatives, balancing growth, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business operations teams to inform and influence the company's cloud and infrastructure strategy through financial insights.
- Support long-term strategic planning, including build vs. buy analysis, and vendor negotiations
- Influence product-level decisions by analyzing margins and unit economics tied to cloud consumption and cost allocation.
- Contribute to board materials, investor reporting, and leadership presentations related to infrastructure strategy and costs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, or investment banking; experience in a tech/cloud-centric environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud cost structures (AWS, Azure, GCP), pricing models, and infrastructure planning.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Tableau) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
