Seeking an experienced Healthcare SME to provide domain expertise across healthcare data governance, data quality, and data readiness initiatives. The role will support the definition of healthcare business terms, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data quality rules, authoritative data sources, and KPI validation across Abu Dhabi healthcare entities.
Key Responsibilities- Define healthcare business glossary terms, data definitions, and semantic relationships.
- Lead Critical Data Element (CDE) identification and prioritization.
- Establish business-driven data accuracy, consistency, and completeness rules.
- Validate healthcare reference data, registers, and authoritative data sources.
- Support data privacy, classification, anonymization, and sensitive-data handling requirements.
- Review and validate healthcare KPIs, metrics, and reporting definitions.
- Assess business impact of data quality issues and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with business, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Mentor analysts on healthcare domain knowledge and data interpretation.
- 8+ years of experience in Healthcare Data, Clinical Informatics, Health Information Management, or Healthcare Analytics.
- Experience with clinical and administrative healthcare datasets.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare standards such as ICD, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and DRG.
- Hands-on experience with data definitions, glossaries, data dictionaries, CDEs, and data quality frameworks.
- Understanding of healthcare privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- UAE healthcare sector experience.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi healthcare standards and ADHICS.
- Experience with data governance tools, metadata management, and KPI frameworks.
- Arabic language proficiency.
